On behalf of the Northeast Electrochemical Energy Storage Cluster (NEESC), the Connecticut Innovations/Connecticut SBIR Office and the Department of Commerce will bring two workshops specifically focused on the clean energy/hydrogen and fuel cell sector to the SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) and global trade conference taking place on July 24-26 at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. Topics of these two workshops include 1) Opportunities for the Clean Energy Sector: Hydrogen and Fuel Cells and 2) Clean Energy Opportunities in Germany. During these interactive sessions representatives from the Department of Energy (DOE), the Department of Defense (DOD), and experts from Germany will discuss research topics that pertain to clean energy with a focus on hydrogen and fuel cell technologies.
Both of these workshops will be of high value to assist small businesses access resources, and open markets for electrochemical energy storage technology manufactured in the U.S. A number of significant organizations have already committed to this event, but participation from smaller companies is vital to strengthening potential SBIR and trade. If you are a technology company, start-up, manufacturer, college/university, service provider or small business involved with innovation to export, this summit will be of high value!
