Overview:
The 2nd annual New Energy Symposium and Hydrogen Expo was organized and hosted by the New Energy New York and the Energy and Environmental Technology Applications Center (E2TAC) at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) on July 30-31, 2007.
Senator Charles Schumer and Robert Catell, the Chairman and CEO of Keyspan, were co-chairs of the event. This second Symposium was expanded to two days with the addition of a New York Hydrogen Expo on July 30. The event was sponsored by NYSERDA and organized in partnership with the Energetics and the National Hydrogen Association.
The New Energy Symposium offered a unique chance to share industry trends, threats, and opportunities as they relate to emerging energy and environmental technologies. The Symposium also provided the opportunity to meet with high level executives from the academia, government, and industry sectors who take an interest in the future of energy in the United States.
