Overview New Energy New York and the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering hosted the Third Annual New Energy Symposium July 9-10, 2008, attracting over 375 prominent players in the energy field from the academia, government, and industry sectors. The event featured a Solar Expo and was held at the world-class Albany NanoTech complex in Albany, NY. Co-chairs for the event were Vincent A. Delorio, Chairman of the Board of Directors for NYSERDA; and Tom Birdsey, President & CEO of Einhorn Yaffee Prescott Architecture & Engineering.
The New Energy Symposium offered a unique chance to share industry trends, threats, and opportunities as they relate to emerging energy technologies. The Symposium also provided the opportunity to meet with executives who take an interest in the future of energy in the United States.
